Yesterday, I was using the SEOmoz’s Page Strength Tool to check the site’s progress and back link count. As I got down to the bottom of the page, the stats showed my site has a Google Page Rank of four.

ArticleOnRamp.com hasn’t had a Page Rank since inception. To have a PR4 was unbelievable. I did a search and found a tool to check a site’s Page Rank against all the known Google data centers. As of 1/11/2007 at 9:33am CST, ArticleOnRamp.com is showing a PR4 in 37 of 41 DCs!

I’m excited. This is my first site from scratch, and to get the positive attention of Google is a good feeling.

Six short months ago, ArticleOnRamp.com was launched with the philosophy of providing an author-friendly article directory. On January 4, 2007, we would like to announce that John Ugoshowa’s article, “The Residual Value of Leasing” is the 1000th article to be posted on the site.
