The new version of Firefox is packed full of a variety of new features. They’ve enhanced tab browsing, included in-line spell checking, session restore, and a few others. However, the most impressive new feature is feed handling.

In the past whenever the user would browse a web page with the extension of .XML or not .RSS, the user would see the unformatted code. Now, users see the formatted page with the option to subscribe to the feed, in the browser of their choice.

As an article directory owner, I have over 400 RSS feeds. If a more inexperienced users click on an RSS feed, they will now see, formatted page that will not scare them off. Previously they would see the raw code. I believe Firefox’s feed handling feature will improve my number of subscribers, as well as a improve my visitor’s experience.
