Jason Bartholme’s Google Search Activity by Trends

Google LogoGoogle search is an important tool for me as I go about my day. Whether it be looking up scripts, finding tutorials, or looking for another blog post idea. Google is my primary search engine of choice and the numbers don’t lie.

If you have a Google account and are signed in, you can view your search history by clicking on Web History, then Trends. There you will see three lists of ten for your Top Queries, Top Sites, and Top Clicks. Below that, is the fun stuff.

daily search activityYou can see your Monthly Search Activity which is laid out on a simple bar graph topped with the number of searches for that month. My highest number of searches was for January.

For my daily searches it looks like that I am consistently active during the mid-week. I work half day on Friday’s so I would have thought I would have even less activity then reported, but that may account for all the times I leave my work office to sit at my home office.

It appears that I am sometimes just as active at night as I am in the day. I do a lot of work at home and my day doesn’t end when I leave the office, so that accounts for increase of activity in the evening hours. Yes, I do sleep and that is usually between 1am and 6am.
