Here are the details of the donation drive:
The goal amount was $1,300. The cost of the MacBook 13″ 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with the memory upgraded to 2GB, tax and shipping.
I used the collected amount to offset the cost of a Dell Inspirion 1525 laptop.
