WordPress 2.3, the most recent, version of the popular blogging software had schema changes which rendered many user-created plugins worthless. Many bloggers are reluctant to upgrade because that means they will loose some of their blog’s functionality.

Adobe MAX will be held in Chicago from Sunday to Wednesday. MAX is the former Macromedia company’s big conference/exposition of the year. Adobe has embraced the event and continued to make it as remarkable as ever.

I consider myself quite a poker fan. I have my own chip set, two packs of KEM playing cards, and also a old banquet table that has been felted and bumpered. CardroomSupply asked me to review their site and I focused on the products, appearance, and the code of their site.

There are a lot of lists out there of links to submit your RSS/XML feeds. However, many of those lists are outdated and include sites that require registration to submit your feed. I have personally gone through each of these sites to insure the site is live and the user does not have to create a registration to submit a feed.

It has been an exciting couple of days. One of my posts, “7 Office Games You Can Play with Your Co-workers“, was promoted to the front page of a nice little site called I Am Bored. 15,000 visitors later, I am happy to report my site stayed up for the entire time and I learned about a new source of traffic.

Less than a year ago, I installed WordPress for the first time and was fascinated by the functionality you could add to your blog by installing plugins. Once I found the plugin directory, I was like a kid in a candy store, installing everything I could. What I didn’t realize is that once I deactivated the plugin, there was still left over code on my pages.
