Update Your Google Analytics Tracking Code
Today, Google announced that they will be adding new features and reporting to their Google Analytics product.
The major addition is the comparative reporting. Users can now choose two metrics and compare them on a graph. For example, visits can be compared against bounce rates. There are 25 metrics that may be compared to one another. Currently, the reporting feature only allows for two metrics to be compared.
Also, Google recommends you update your “urchin.js” JavaScript page code with the the new code that is located by going to the Website Profiles page, click “Edit” on the desired profile, then, “Check Status”. They state the the immediate benefit of installing the new code is the ability to track e-commerce transactions.

YES! i hate the “old” analytics version!!
Hum, I’m kind of ashamed but, God thank you, I got my new code up and running. I didn’t noticed that news. Thanks again.
Hey, this might be a slightly off-topic question, but I see that you are using the same blogger template as me, and you obviously must be using google analytics with your page since you discuss it here, so I was wondering if you had to do anything special to add it with this format because for some reason it is just not being tracked for me. I added the urchin.js code right before my but I am just striking out. Well, if anything comes to mind that you did differently, I’d love some help. Other than that, great blog, keep up the good work.
